Florida bill aims to require insurers inspect broken windshields before repair

“Florida Rep. Rene Plasencia has proposed an amendment to current legislation that would require an inspection of a windshield’s damage by an insurer before it is repaired or replaced. The bill has been pre-filed in the Florida state legislature, and, if passed, could have implications for the auto glass industry within the state.
