That’s because two Tri Counties Bank employees are badly in need of new cars.
Their cars, both parked outside the bank in the parking lot off Hilltop Drive, were destroyed Tuesday when an auto glass repairman accidentally lit one of them on fire while trying to fix a rock-chipped windshield, a Redding fire official said,
The fire engulfed the car, a Ford Fusion, and spread to a Subaru Outback parked next to it.
“I’m sure they are both totaled,” said Redding Fire Department Battalion Chief Sean Coleman.”
